Agartala: Jan 27: The Governor of Tripura, Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, attended the 38th Association of Indian Universities (AIU) Inter-University North East Zone Youth Festival 2024-2025, “TARANG UTSAV,” which was held at ICFAI University in Kamalghat this evening. The festival, a significant cultural and academic event, aims to celebrate the vibrant youth culture of the region and provide a platform for students to showcase their talents in various fields.

Shri Nallu, in his address, expressed his delight in being part of the grand event and emphasized the importance of youth participation in shaping the future of the country. He highlighted the role of such festivals in fostering creativity, cultural exchange, and building a sense of unity among the youth of different states. The Governor also stressed that events like “TARANG UTSAV” not only offer students a chance to showcase their artistic and intellectual abilities but also help in their overall development, encouraging them to grow into responsible citizens.

The festival featured a wide range of competitions and activities, including music, dance, drama, and sports, allowing students from various universities in the North East to demonstrate their skills and creativity. The event was attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and dignitaries from different institutions across the region, making it a truly vibrant and engaging experience.

Shri Nallu also took the opportunity to appreciate ICFAI University for hosting the event and acknowledged the hard work of the organizers in making it a success. The festival not only serves as a cultural celebration but also fosters a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among the students, contributing to their holistic development.
