Agartala: A day after taking oath as the 20th Governor of Tripura, Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Friday offered prayers at Tripura Sundari temple along with his wife. Higher officials posted in his office escorted him to the Shakti peeth which is considered to be the one of the main centers of devotions and religious practices in the state. Since early in the morning, security arrangements were beefed up in view of his visit. The Governor and his wife took blessings of Devi, offered Prasad and circumambulated the holy temple for the wellbeing of the people of Tripura. The Governor also inspected the ongoing construction works for renovation of the temple.
