Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu Sworn In as Acting Governor of Mizoram

Agartala: Sept 30: This morning, in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram, Indrasena Reddy Nallu was sworn in as the Governor of Mizoram. The oath was administered by Justice Nelson Sailo, a judge of the Guwahati High Court. The Chief Secretary of Mizoram, Dr. Renu Sharma, read out the Presidential order appointing him as the additional Governor of Mizoram.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including the Chief Minister of Mizoram, Pu Lalduhoma, the Speaker of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly, Pu Lalbiakzama, the Home Minister Pu K. Sapdanga, other cabinet members, a Lok Sabha member, the DGP, and invited guests.

Following the ceremony, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu held discussions with the Chief Minister and officials of Mizoram, focusing on the law and order situation in the state. Governor Nallu, born on March 31, 1949, in Gunuga Banda village of Nalgonda district, Telangana, has previously served as a member of the undivided Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly three times.
