Agartala December 12: No negligence will be tolerated in health services. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating a ten-bed primary hospital with accommodation for health workers at Chief Minister’s Khoi Uttar Chebri on Tuesday. The Chief Minister unveiled the plaques of the two newly constructed Paka Bhavans at the beginning of the ceremony.
The Chief Minister said that a 10-bed primary hospital has been built in North Chebri at a cost of 4 crore 86 lakhs. Two Type One category staff quarter buildings were also constructed. The central government and the state governments are working hand in hand to improve the healthcare system. For which trauma centers have been created at different places so that accident patients can get immediate treatment in different areas. As a result, the trauma center in Agartala GB Hospital will reduce patient pressure.
Patients from different places will get urgent medical care at these trauma centers. The Chief Minister also said that besides treatment, education, food, drinking water, shelter are all necessary. Central and state governments are making efforts for this. For which the central government is launching one project after another for the benefit of the people. In the face of the journalists, he told the Chief Minister that especially in the hospitals where the patients come for medical services, the doctors should treat them well. Because the doctor understands well what kind of pain the body of an accident patient is experiencing at that time. Because he is a doctor, a doctor’s words lift a patient’s morale. Addressing the people of the state, the Chief Minister also said that several heavy weapons campaigns have been successful in the state. Doctors in the state have been successful in Neurological Surgery, Open Heart Surgery. As a result, the tendency of patients in the state to go abroad for treatment has decreased. People are gaining confidence in the state’s medical services. Apart from the Chief Minister, Khowai District Magistrate Chandrani Chandran, Kalyanpur MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury State Assembly Chief Whip and MLA Kalyani Roy, Khowai Zilla Parishad Chairman Jaydev Debbarma, District Superintendent of Police and others were present on the occasion. After the ceremony, he left for Kalyanpur. In 1996, 26 innocent people of Kalyanpur area were martyred by extremists.
