Government Committed to Restoring Normalcy for Flood-Affected Residents

Agartala: Sept 20: Minister Sudhanshu Das reaffirmed the government’s commitment to restoring normal lives for those affected by the recent floods during a review meeting held today. The meeting took place at the Kailashahar Circuit House Conference Hall and included the District Magistrate of Unakoti district and officials from various departments at the district and sub-divisional levels.

The primary focus of the meeting was to assess the extent of the flood damage and review the delivery of government aid to the affected residents. Minister Das emphasized that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha, has initiated several measures to support the flood-affected people. He urged officials to expedite the implementation of these measures and stressed the importance of quick flood damage mitigation.
