Agartala, May 18: In a joint operation conducted by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF), four individuals—comprising one Indian and three Bangladeshis—have been apprehended for their involvement in human trafficking. The incident occurred at the Agartala Gate Railway Station as the suspects were en route to Chennai for employment.

GRP Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tapas Das confirmed the arrests and stated that the accused will be presented in court on Saturday. A remand plea for a three-day custody extension will be sought during the court proceedings.
