First time in Tripura, the results of the three-tier Panchayat elections will be directly provided on the state election commission’s website.

 Agartala: August 10: The people of the state will be able to view the results in real-time during the counting process. This was announced today by Asit Kumar Das, the Secretary of the State Election Commission, while addressing the media.

He stated that the three-tier Panchayat elections in the state have already been completed peacefully. The results of the election will be announced on August 12. The counting will take place at 35 voting centers across the state for Panchayat Samiti, Gram Panchayat, and Zila Parishad seats.

He further added that adequate security forces have been deployed at each polling station. For the first time, people will be able to know the results during the counting process itself, as the results will be directly available on the state election commission’s website.
