“Festival is not alone but the truth is revealed in union. To experience truth in that union is the totality of the festival.”
Chief Minister of Tripura Prof. Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the three-day Biju Mela held at Swami Vivekananda Stadium, Agartala yesterday on the occasion of Biju, one of the tribal groups of Chakma community.
Cultural program was held after the inauguration Industry and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder, Biju Mela Development Corporation Chairman MLA Shambhu Lal Chakma, President of the 49th State Biju Mela Committee Tushar Kanti Chakma were present on the stage. Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha and others are also excited to be present at this event. The Chief Minister said that Festival is a union of all, and we should aim to strengthen this union among all castes and tribes. Only then will one Tripura become the best Tripura.
