Agartala, August 11: The police of Ambassa police station recovered dry cannabis worth about 25 lakh rupees. At Naka Point located in Ambassa Bet Bagan, the police managed to recover cannabis by searching a cargo lorry bearing number AS02CC0793 coming from Agartala direction.

Biswajit Debbarma, OC of Ambassa police station, said that a total of 257 kg of dry cannabis was recovered in 83 packets after searching the vehicle on Friday. According to the police, the market value of which is approximately Rs 25 lakh 70 thousand. Besides, the police arrested the two drivers in the car. The police started investigation by taking a case against them under the NDPS section.
