Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee’s 123rd birth anniversary was celebrated with due dignity.
A function was organized at Rabindra Centenary Bhavan on the 123rd birth anniversary of Bharat Keshari Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee, torchbearer of nationalism, skilled organizer and founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh on Thursday 6th July. The Chief Minister of the state, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, was present at the event. The chief minister paid tribute by placing flowers on the portrait of Shyamaprasad Mukherjee. Other dignitaries were also present on the day. In this great event, retired professor of MBB College. Jagadish Gon Chowdhury Sir Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee is impressed by the way he has broadened our knowledge.
Also bagged first, second and third position in the State-wise Essay Competition organized by the Department of Information and Culture . on the occasion of Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Ji’s birth anniversary among college and university students.
The Chief Minister of the state handed over the prizes to the winners in a function at their Rabindra Centenary Bhawan.
