Dipasree Das murder case: CPIM West District Committee demands immediate arrest of the accused

Agartala: Oct 30: The left has once again called for a fair investigation into the mysterious death of a student in name of Shuddhikaran. They claim that Deepsree Das was killed by BJP leader in the name of Shuddhikaran. The CPIM West Tripura district committee protested in front of the state police headquarters on Monday demanding exemplary punishment for the killers of schoolgirl Dipsree Das. West Tripura District Committee Secretary Ratan Das alleged that the girl was pushed to kill.
After the condition of this 9th class girl became critical, Shantirbazar District Hospital was transferred to GB. From there Dipshri Das was shifted to Kolkata for better treatment. The girl died in Kamalpur while being brought on the hospital . The CPM state secretary wrote to the state director general of police and demanded the immediate action in this incident, to be tried under the POCSO Act. The secretary of West Tripura District Committee also alleged that a section of the police is trying to suppress this incident by plotting. He also said, it was not a natural death. The police are trying to feed the incident. The police has not taken an active role in any incident related to women in the last five years. Therefore, the police should conduct a proper investigation of this purification incident. And accused BJP leaders Biplab Sen and Arun Halder should be arrested and brought to court. Ratan Das said that then a fair investigation of this incident will come out. CPIM Sadar District Committee Secretary Shubashis Ganguly and other leaders were also present in the organized program.
