Last year, under the initiative of Uttar District. Forest Department and with the cooperation of each village panchayat within the district, agar gardens were planted among the common laborers in each rural area adjacent to the panchayat. Dilip Vardhan, President of Poverty Alleviation Standing Committee of North District Council, went to see the agar garden of the beneficiaries of Algapur village of Dharmanagar Vidhan Sabha this Thursday morning based on the decision of North District Council whether the recipients of agar garden were happy or benefited. Zilla Parishad member Suniti Nath, Forest Officer Md. Abdul Sattar, Algapur Village Panchayat Chief Kripasindhu Shuklabaidya and others were also present. Dilip Vardhan, President of Poverty Alleviation Standing Committee, said in an interview on this day, from today, the program of visiting the agar garden of each recipient in each village panchayat area of Uttar district will continue. He urged everyone to come forward in the work of creating forests throughout the year to protect the balance of the environment and save the world’s wildlife.
