Agartala August 1: PRTC is not being implemented for the recruitment process in all the offices in the state and the youth from outside the state are getting an opportunity to clear the PRTC on their way to the state. Alleging this, the Pradesh Youth Congress, Pradesh Mahila Congress, NSUI and the Pradesh Congress jointly organized a protest program from the Pradesh Congress Bhavan on Tuesday.

They took part in the protest in front of the office of the Labor Department by circumambulating various streets of the city. Pradesh Youth Congress vice-president Shahajan Islam, who was present at the protest program, criticized the government and said that a decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting a few days ago that PRTC is mandatory for the appointment of all departments in the state. But even then PRTC is not made mandatory for recruitment in PWD and Dental Colleges. As a result, the Tripura government has given a great opportunity to the boys and girls from outside the state to get jobs in the state again. Apart from this, youths from outside the state are applying for jobs through fake PRTC in those departments where PRTC has been made mandatory. Therefore Youth Congress demanded elimination of deprivation instead of such deception on the youth of the state. He also demanded that strict action be taken against the officials who are cooperating to bring out the fake PRTC.
