Demonstration in front of Gomoti District Superintendent of Police office.

Students supported by ABVP joined the protest on Saturday against the recent rape of a minor girl in Tepaniya Park. On this day, they protested in front of Gomoti District Superintendent of Police office . Hand over the memo to the District Superintendent of Police.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad State Committee Secretary Sanjit Saha and others were present Sanjit Saha said that the police are not taking any initiative to arrest the accused after the incident of gang rape.

Police can arrest them and punish them severely if they want But the passive role of the police is highly condemnable . They warned that if action is not taken against them immediately, they will launch a larger movement.
It is to be noted that three youths gang-raped the minor girl in the park . Last Wednesday accused Sohel Mia called to meet the minor girl . Accordingly, the minor girl went to Tepaniya Eco Park without informing anyone at home to visit her. He went there and found three young men waiting for him at Eco Park.

The minor girl is somewhat suspicious of their behavior .When the girl tried to come home after realizing this, the three accused showed her a sharp knife and took her to a secluded place and gang-raped her. Later three youths threw the girl from the car in Rajarbagh area and ran away.
