Agartala: Feb 03: Congress has allied with CPIM goons in upcoming assembly elections. Bharatiya Janata Party will respond to goons through democracy. This was said by Union Minister Smriti Irani while addressing the Vijay Sankalp Public Meeting at Arundhati School Ground of Town No. 8 Baradowali Assembly Constituency on Friday. She said that Tripura had a Left Front government for 25 years. But two and a half lakh families of Tripura did not get houses through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. But in the last five years under the double engine government, two and a half lakh families got houses through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 2 lakh 18 thousand families got electricity. Therefore Smriti Irani expressed hope that the BJP government will be established in Tripura again under the leadership of Manik Saha. He taunted the state’s main opposition Left Front over the establishment of Tripura Dental College and said that Manik Saha is running a dental college in Tripura and the Left Front is breaking teeth by opposing it. He said that Left Front leaders from Tripura are going to Delhi in expensive cars because they don’t have money and keeping the people of Tripura poor. These leaders speak English but have not set up any English medium schools for poor children in Nalchara. But the Bharatiya Janata Party government has shown English medium schools in a flurry, so today the Left Front has to ally with the Congress in Tripura. Even then they will not get a single vote of the people. People know that voting for CPIM means voting for mafia and voting for Congress means voting for thugs and corrupt people. Therefore, the people of the state will go to the polls on February 16 and exercise their democratic rights to win democracy. In today’s meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha pulled the Left Front and Congress alliance and asked those who are in this alliance today, who killed Congress youth activist Deval Dev of Baradwali? Union Minister Smriti Irani said that the murder was done by CPIM goons. Today on that ground CPIM and Congress are in alliance saying they will fight against Bharatiya Janata Party. So the question to the Congress leaders of Delhi today is why the Congress has joined hands with those thugs of Tripura? Today it is being said from the platform that if the opposition alliance shows the power of the stick then the Bharatiya Janata Party will show the power of democracy because people are with Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that the opposition has formed an alliance due to the greed of power. Dr. Manik Saha, Mayor Deepak Majumder and other leaders were present in the meeting organized for Town No. 8 Baradowali Assembly Constituency.
