Agartala: Feb 08: BJP MP Biplab Kumar Deb is thrilled with the Delhi Assembly election results, believing that Delhi has been “freed from the sins” of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He credits the BJP’s victory to the trust people have in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the strategic prowess of Amit Shah, as well as the “sins” of Arvind Kejriwal.

Deb, who played a significant role in campaigning for the Delhi elections, is humble about his contributions, stating that fulfilling the party’s duties is his primary responsibility. He emphasizes that he doesn’t seek personal advantage and works wholeheartedly for the party.

Deb’s criticism of Kejriwal is scathing, accusing him of misgovernance and handling the pandemic poorly. He claims that if the central government hadn’t intervened, half of Delhi’s population would have perished. Deb predicts the downfall of AAP in Delhi’s political landscape, suggesting that Kejriwal’s focus will now shift to Punjab.

It’s worth noting that Deb’s statements come after the BJP’s significant victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, marking a turning point in the party’s fortunes in the national capital.
