Cycle Rally and Peace March Held to Celebrate World Tourism Day

On September 27th, World Tourism Day was marked by a cycle rally and peace march. The event was inaugurated by the Governor of the state, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, who waved green flags to commence the procession. The Tourism Minister, Sushant Chowdhury, along with other officials, also attended the event.

The rally began at the Ujjayanta Palace in the capital city. In his address to the media, Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu highlighted Tripura’s strong presence as an education and medical hub. He emphasized the importance of establishing Tripura as a tourism hub and discussed the development of rural tourism with the Tourism Minister. The Governor also mentioned ongoing development projects at the Tripureswari Temple and the need to develop Nirmal Mahal. He noted that tourists are attracted to peaceful environments, and Tripura offers such a setting.
