Agartala, November 22: CPM will fight single-handedly in the Lok Sabha elections in the state. CPM’s politburo member and former chief minister Manik Sarkar’s comments are purely personal. Such comments are irrelevant to remove BJP. MLA Sudeep Roy Barman said this in response to a question at a press conference at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan today.

Incidentally, on November 22, Politburo member and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar went to the memorial meeting of late Basudev Acharjee and said in no uncertain terms that the CPM will fight the Lok Sabha elections alone in the state. He was clear that in the 23rd Legislative Assembly elections, enemies and allies have been identified. So we have to strengthen our loins to fight single-handedly in the Lok Sabha elections.
