Agartala, February 21: The CPI(ML) Tripura State Committee has extended an invitation to Tipra Motha, urging them to join forces with the Indi Jote. In a press conference held at the Agartala Press Club, a senior CPI(ML) leader expressed concern over the state of the Constitution under the current Modi government.
The leader highlighted the relentless assault on constitutional principles and the rights of citizens. Specifically, the plight of tribal communities caught the spotlight. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration, tribal populations face eviction from their ancestral lands. Numerous struggles have ensued, yet the situation remains precarious.
Adding to the concerns, the Autonomous District Council (ADC) in Tripura encounters obstacles in its functioning. Budgetary allocations for the ADC have been withheld, hindering its ability to serve the people effectively. Surprisingly, Tipra Motha, a regional party, has remained silent on these critical issues.
The Indi Jote, a collective platform, stands as a beacon for the oppressed across the nation. It serves as a rallying point against the policies of the Modi government. The CPI(ML) leader earnestly appealed to Tipra Motha to align with the Indi Jote and collectively challenge the status quo.
As the political landscape in Tripura evolves, the call for unity resonates, transcending party lines and advocating for justice and constitutional integrity.
