CPI(M) organizes 4th district conference

Agartala: Dec 19: The 4th district conference of the CPI(M) West Tripura District began with the hoisting of the flag and floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial. The event was attended by prominent CPI(M) leaders, including Manik Sarkar, a member of the Politburo, and other senior leaders such as Pabitra Kar and Manik De.

Speaking to the media, CPI(M) leader Pabitra Kar stated that the 4th district conference of CPI(M) West Tripura was being held at the Bhanu Ghosh Memorial Hall. The first district conference was held in the Khowai district. He also announced that the 24th CPI(M) State Conference will be held in Agartala Town Hall on January 29, 30, and 31, 2024.

Pabitra Kar further explained that the district conference is held every three years, where new committee members are elected. The key decisions about the party’s future direction and policies are formulated during these conferences, which play an essential role in shaping the party’s framework and strategies for the coming years. The conference also serves as an opportunity to review the party’s progress and discuss its plans to strengthen its base at the grassroots level.

This district conference is a crucial part of the CPI(M)’s organizational structure, allowing party leaders and members to align on political objectives and actions while also fostering unity within the party. The upcoming state conference will be a significant event for the party to review its achievements, address challenges, and set new goals for the future.
