Agartala: June 18: Post-election unrest has persisted in Tripura, prompting the West Tripura District Committee of the CPIM to organize a protest in front of the Director General of Police’s headquarters. The demonstration aimed to call for justice against those responsible for the violence.

Ratan Das, the Western District Secretary, accused BJP-backed individuals of perpetrating attacks on CPM workers since the Lok Sabha election results on June 4. He highlighted incidents in various parts of West Tripura district, including Jirania, Amtali, and Shivnagar, and criticized the police for their lack of action. The CPIM West Tripura District Committee has expressed its dissent through this protest.
