CPI(M) Gomati District Committee organizes  blood donation camp

Agartala: Mar 29: The CPI(M) Gomati District Committee organized a blood donation camp on Saturday at their party office in Udaipur, with the goal of promoting community involvement and social responsibility. Several prominent leaders attended the event, including Manik Sarkar, Ratan Bhowmik, Parimal Debnath, and Dilip Dutta .

Tinku Roy highlights women’s empowerment

Manik Sarkar emphasized the importance of blood donation, highlighting that scientists have yet to find an alternative to blood. He encouraged people to donate blood regularly, up to three times a year, and also promoted participation in body and eye donation initiatives.

 

Sarkar expressed concern over obstacles faced by democratic organizations in organizing blood donation drives, allegedly due to anti-social elements associated with the ruling party. He also condemned incidents of attacks on blood donors in the state .
