Agartala: July 15: Ahead of the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections, Congress nominees filed their nomination papers for West Tripura Zilla Parishad seats on Monday. A procession organized by Congress workers and supporters started from the Pradesh Congress Bhavan, culminating in front of the West Tripura District Council office. State Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha led the procession. Following the event, the nominated candidates submitted their nomination papers to the Returning Officer. Saha emphasized that Congress nominees across the state are actively participating in the election process. Notably, Gomti district’s nomination papers were submitted last Friday.
