Congress Held Organizational Meeting Ahead of Panchayat Elections

Agartala: July 01: On Monday, an organizational meeting convened at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan, bringing together block chairmen, district chairmen, and other leaders from the Scheduled Castes section of Tripura Pradesh Congress. The purpose of this gathering was to prepare for the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections. During the meeting, various organizational matters were discussed, with a particular focus on candidate selection.

State Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha, along with other prominent figures, participated in the meeting. Saha emphasized the importance of choosing suitable candidates for the elections. If all goes according to plan, the panchayat elections are expected to take place in the first week of August.
