The event, held at the Bairagi Para School grounds in Rajni Sardar Para ADC Village, Kalyanpur, paid tribute to 37 tribal martyrs who lost their lives to militant forces between 1982 and 2003. Among the attendees were MDC Bidyut Debbarma, Block Chairman Somen Gop, Kalyanpur Mandal President Nitai Bol, Khowai District BJP President Binoy Debbarma, Block Advisory Committee Chairman Indrani Debbarma, BJP leaders Purnendu Bhattacharya and Saraswati Debnath, along with other Janajati Morcha leaders. MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury was absent due to being out of state.

During his speech, MDC Bidyut Debbarma noted that while Tipra Motha and BJP initially faced challenges, they have now garnered support due to the development-focused initiatives of the country’s Prime Minister. He emphasized that only the United Nations has the authority to grant Greater Tipraland, dismissing other possibilities. Criticizing the Left, he asserted that socialism would never take root and reiterated that Congress and Communist history would be erased from Tripura.

He further highlighted that Congress and Communists had failed to reach many areas of the state, whereas BJP has made inroads everywhere. Addressing issues like drinking water shortages, irrigation challenges, and electricity problems during the dry season, he praised the BJP government for tackling these concerns and advancing development. He also commended Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha for ensuring free and fair democratic elections across the state. Concluding his remarks, he stated that Congress and Communists now lack any substantial issues to criticize.
