Coming forward to donate blood for the sake of humanity is highly commendable: Chief Minister

Agartala April 3: The government is working to make one Tripura a better Tripura and one India a better India by fulfilling the long-standing needs of the people. This was said by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while speaking at the Mega Blood Donation Camp organized by North Zonal of Agartala Municipal Corporation on Monday.

At the blood donation camp organized at the North Zonal Office at Shyamoli Bazar, the Chief Minister also said that there are twelve government blood banks and two private blood banks in the state. For the busy two months due to the elections, there is a shortage of blood in the blood banks. Blood donation camps were called to come out of this blood crisis. In response to this, everyone including the administrative staff of the state and various organizations has come forward. The coming forward of the people of the state to donate blood for the sake of humanity is highly commendable.

This humanity can always be seen in the people of the state. The Chief Minister thanked those who participated in the camp today. He also said that the youth should come forward the most. Mayor Deepak Majumder, Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta and many others were present in the blood donation camp. Chief Minister visited blood donation camp and encouraged blood donors.
