Agartala: Dec 23: The religion is different, but the festival is for everyone. And one day later, the festival of Christian people is Christmas. Final preparations are underway in the capital Mariam Nagar Church ahead of Christmas on 25th December. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited Mariam Nagar church on Friday morning and inspected all the preparations.
This is the first time that any Chief Minister of the state has visited the church. Entrepreneurs are very happy to see this. Satisfied with the entrepreneurs and discussed the preparations. However, the local area suffers heavy losses during rainy days. In particular, the farmers of the area suffered from problems with the crops grown on the land around the church. Local residents have to travel by boat. So now the farmers are selling the land. The land is being filled with soil. Due to which the beautiful form of nature around the church is on the way to extinction. The church authorities demanded action from the administration. Later he told reporters that this is the first church in the state. The church is preserving the heritage of the state. The Chief Minister called for everyone to come and enjoy the church on December 25. He also said that there are some problems, they have been asked to look into the area MLA and Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty. Meanwhile, the church is being renovated. Lights are being installed to illuminate the church. Father Lynes said that the Holy Vigil will be held on the evening of December 24. The next day i.e. 25th December morning will be held Holy Christ Jag. After the wake, Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty will cut the cake. The fair will be centered on Christmas.
