Followed by the inauguration, Dr. Saha highlighted the high hopes that the people hold for the BJP Legal Cell.

“People believe that in times of legal complications, the activists affiliated to BJP Legal Cell will offer assistance and ensure that justice is prevailed”, he said.

The voluntary blood donation drive garnered significant appreciation from Dr. Saha, who stressed that donating blood is a noble service.

“It is vital to maintain at least 40,000 units of blood in the blood banks. According to the standards set by the medical regulatory bodies, one percent of the total population number of blood units must remain stocked in the blood banks. Last year, our blood banks had received 42,000 units of blood. And, this year also a significant number of blood donation camps have been conducted by social organizations”, Dr Saha said adding that during the elections the blood banks were reeling under a serious crisis of blood units.

“To address this shortage, I had called upon the residents to come forward. Clubs, volunteer organizations, and associations have joined forces to expedite the process of blood collection, ensuring a sufficient blood supply”, he recalled.

Dr. Saha emphasized that blood knows no religion or caste; it is a shared resource that anyone can contribute to. He underlined the educational aspect of blood donation, asserting that it fosters a profound spiritual connection among people. Giving and receiving blood creates a bond like no other.
