In response to Hon’ble CM of Tripura’s appeal to people of the State to donate blood in view of the blood shortage in the State, Agartala Sector of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a Mega Blood donation camp in collaboration with Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital, Agartala on 17 Apr 23.

 

The Hon’ble CM of Tripura Dr Manik Saha inaugurated the blood donation camp and motivated the blood donors by distributing certificate and gift items.

 

A total of 150 volunteer blood donors have come up to donate blood in the camp out of which 110 have donated the blood.

 

The Hon’able Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for organising the blood donation camp at a time when the state is facing acute blood shortage in last couple of months. He also appreciated the Assam Rifles contribution in the fight against drugs abuse in the State and other social activities.
