Agartala August 14: Garments were distributed among the sanitation workers on the initiative of Snigdha Das Dev, Ward No. 14 Corporator of Agartala Municipal Corporation ahead of Independence Day. The clothes were handed over to the cleaning workers in a ceremony at the ward office premises on Monday.
Ward No. 14 Corporator Snigdha Das Dev and others were present. In an interview, Corporator Snigdha Das Dev said that the country’s Prime Minister had called for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is on its way to success due to the efforts of the sanitation workers. Therefore, on this day, clothes have been handed over as a gift to the sanitation workers on behalf of Ward No. 14 of Agartala Municipal Corporation.
