Cleanliness and Safety Camp Inaugurated at Agartala Town Hall

Agartala: July 29: A cleanliness and safety camp was officially inaugurated at Agartala Town Hall, where safety kits were distributed to sanitation workers. The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Monika Das Daw, Municipal Commissioner Shailesh Kumar Yadav, and other officials.

During the event, the Mayor highlighted the significant role of sanitation workers in maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of Agartala city. She emphasized that health camps and health insurance arrangements have been made for these workers, acknowledging their crucial contribution, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Mayor also mentioned that the Municipal Corporation is committed to the health and well-being of sanitation workers by organizing various health camps and providing health insurance. She noted that Agartala city has received several awards from the central government for its cleanliness, attributing this achievement to the hard work of the sanitation workers. She urged the public to actively participate in keeping the city clean.
