In this meeting, various representatives of the district administration, including senior police officials and representatives of the traffic department, were present.

On this day, the Mayor said that the Municipal Corporation is making relentless efforts to keep the city free from traffic jams and garbage. The Corporation is visiting different areas every day and listening to the complaints of the people and trying to resolve those complaints.

According to him, the Corporation has noticed that some unscrupulous traders are trying to do business during Puja by illegally occupying various streets of Agartala city. As result traffic is disrupted and public is also facing inconvenience.

On this day, he also said that from Kaman Chaumohani to Post Office Chaumohani and Paradise Chaumohani to Battala had been freed earlier by the initiative of the corporation. Later they again started their business at that place. As a result, traffic jams have become a daily occurrence in the area. The mayor claimed that within the next three days, the illegal occupants will be evicted and the roads will be cleared.
