Agartala: Mar 01: Thirteenth Assembly election results on Thursday. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha spoke to BJP candidates from 60 assembly constituencies through video conference on Tuesday. A closed-door meeting was held with the BJP functionaries of 8 Town Bardowali assembly constituencies at Red Cross Bhavan on Wednesday. The meeting was presided over by Chief Minister and BJP candidate of Town No. 8 Bardowali Assembly Constituency Dr. Manik Saha.

Khumulwng tense as BJP flags campaign material damage

Mayor Deepak Majumder, District Secretary Narayan Dutta and other leaders were present. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said the outcome of the election has become clear through exit polls. BJP will be in power with more seats than last time. Meanwhile, he strongly said that the margin of votes in Bardowali assembly constituency in the last by-election will increase this time. The Chief Minister discussed the counting with all the candidates through video conference on Tuesday. Message to the party candidates and leaders to ensure that there is no unrest in any part of the state after the counting. The chief minister said that party candidates and leadership have agreed. Booth president of 8 Town Bardowali assembly constituency, Shakti Kendra president, Mandal leadership, Sadar Urban district leadership and corporators participated in the meeting. Chief Minister thanked them. Such beautiful elections have not been organized in the history of the state. Therefore, the chief minister specially urged that this atmosphere of peace should continue even after the census.
