Chief Minister Requests Additional NDRF Teams Amid Flood Situation

Agartala: August 21: Due to continuous rainfall over the past three days, a flood situation has developed in the state. In response, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha has requested the central government to dispatch additional National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams to address the emerging situation.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister stated, “I have informed Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the flood situation in the state. I have requested the deployment of additional NDRF teams to manage the situation. The Union Home Minister has assured me of all possible assistance during this crisis. I am grateful to him for his readiness to provide us with all possible help at this moment.”
