Agartala: Dec 26: On the occasion of the 121st birth anniversary of the renowned philosopher and founder of human religion, Mahamahopadhyay Vaishnava Acharya Dr. Mahanambrata Brahmachariji, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha participated in a winter clothing distribution program at the Shri Shri Mahanam Angan in Banmalipur. The event was organized by the Nikhil Tripura Mahanam Sevak Sangh.
The Chief Minister, while addressing the gathering, emphasized that the true essence of religion lies in working for the welfare of society. He lauded the Mahanam Sevak Sangh for its consistent social service initiatives aimed at benefiting the community. He also appreciated the organization’s ongoing efforts in extending a helping hand to the people.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder, Corporator Ratna Dutta, and others. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister highlighted that the ashram remains dedicated to staying away from antisocial activities and focuses on social service. He stated that the fulfillment of human duty comes from engaging in societal welfare and emphasized the importance of education in purifying the mind and spirit.
He called upon everyone to spread the teachings and ideals of Dr. Mahanambrata Brahmachariji, who believed in using education as a means to eliminate mental impurities and lead a life full of purity and devotion. The event was a celebration of the ideals of social service and the pursuit of human welfare.
