Incidentally, last year, 10 people, including children, died tragically due to electrocution in the Ulto Rath organized by ISKCON at Kumarghat. The state government constituted a committee to investigate the incident. Yesterday in the Legislative Assembly, the Leader of the Opposition wanted to know about the investigation into the incident. The Chief Minister avoided the matter then. But today the leader of the opposition raised the issue in the off chance today and drew the Chief Minister’s attention.

The chief minister said that the responsibility of investigating the tragic incident at Kumarghat was given to the revenue department. But after evaluating the investigation report, it was found that there is a need for a more detailed judicial analysis.
