Later, the Chief Minister handed over a check of Rs 2 lakh to the late Tapan Bhowmik’s wife. The chief minister was accompanied by state BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharya and former area MLA Doctor Dilip Das. Everyone knows who organized the attack on Tapan Bhowmik after the poll results were announced. That is, the identity of these miscreants is the Communist Party. Later, the police started investigation and arrested the case. But they have taken advance bail. So this matter will be looked at by the government and the party. And none of those involved in this incident will be spared. The Chief Minister said that the law will follow the law. The chief minister also said that the families of victims of such terrorism are given financial assistance of two lakh rupees as per rules. According to that, Tapan’s family has been supported with two lakh rupees.

But with this money, Tapan cannot be found back. So the government is thinking about those who are eligible for jobs in the family. This matter was discussed in the cabinet meeting on May 30. A committee has been formed to look into what the government can do for those who die in such acts of terrorism. The Chief Minister assured that if there is a final decision according to this committee then the family will surely get support. It may be noted that miscreants attacked BJP worker Tapan Bhowmik after the election results were announced. Tapan was injured in the head. But Tapan lost the fight with death in GB hospital. Then the incident of blocking the road with dead bodies also came up. The family of the deceased and the locals demanded strict punishment for the miscreants.
