Agartala: Dec 29: In the near future, a notification for 2,500 job vacancies will be issued, and there is no need for unnecessary protests regarding employment. This statement was made by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha during an event organized by the Bardowali Legislative Assembly constituency on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister responded to claims that there are no jobs in the state and that the number of unemployed individuals is rising. He clarified that, under the state government’s initiatives, 13,000 government jobs have been regularly filled. Additionally, several opportunities for contractual employment, or jobs based on contracts, have been provided, ensuring that more people have access to work.
The Chief Minister further assured that, in the coming days, notifications for approximately 2,500 Group D positions would be released. He also mentioned that the state government is taking necessary steps for teacher recruitment, acknowledging the growing demand for teachers in various educational institutions.
Addressing the public, Dr. Saha emphasized that there is no need to resort to protests for employment opportunities. He assured the people that the government will issue job notifications at the appropriate time and that efforts are ongoing to address employment concerns effectively.
