Agartala: April 26, In a historic moment, Bru camp voters exercised their democratic rights, casting their votes in the state for the first time since their permanent rehabilitation. Booth number 30 in the 47 Ambassa assembly constituency witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Bru refugee community.

The Bru voters expressed gratitude to both the central and state governments for enabling them to exercise their right to vote without any disruptions. The atmosphere at the polling station was charged with excitement as these voters, who had been displaced for over two decades, finally had the opportunity to participate in the Lok Sabha elections.
