Body of BSF jawan recovered

Agartala, November 17: The dead body of a BSF jawan was recovered while on duty at the Indo-Bangla Agartala border. This morning’s incident has spread a lot of excitement in Shanmura area. Whether it was a planned murder or something else, the police are investigating to unravel the mystery

Subal Das, OC of Ramnagar police station, said that the police received a report this morning that the dead body of a BSF jawan was found under the culvert near the Sanmura Agartala check post. The police rushed to the spot and send him to IGM hospital after receiving the information. The doctor on duty at the hospital declared him dead.

 

He also said that the deceased was jawan Ishan Chandra Dora of 42nd battalion of BSF of Oddisa, worked at Agartala Lankamura Border Out Post.
