BJP plans to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution with a 15-day long training program and special events

Agartala: Jan 07: On January 26th, the country will celebrate both Republic Day and Constitution Day, marking the 75th anniversary of the Constitution’s drafting. This announcement was made by Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy at a press conference held at the state BJP office on Tuesday. He emphasized that Babasaheb Ambedkar drafted the Constitution for nation-building.

From January 11th to 25th, the Bharatiya Janata Party has organized a 15-day training program at every booth, block, and district level across the state. A committee has been formed for this purpose, with the minister himself in charge. January 17th will be celebrated as ‘Gaurav Diwas’ (Day of Glory), and on January 25th, ‘Gaurav Diwas’ will be celebrated in every block.

 

During the press conference, the minister criticized opposition parties, accusing them of misinterpreting the Constitution and not showing proper respect to Babasaheb Ambedkar. The Bharatiya Janata Party and the government aim to honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the 75th anniversary of the Constitution’s drafting.
