Agartala: Oct 30: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to contest the upcoming village committee elections in Tripura by forming a strategic alliance with partner parties Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) and Tipra Matha. State BJP president and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee made this announcement today, emphasizing the party’s confidence in securing power through this coalition.

Bhattacharjee stated that the BJP will actively prepare for the elections by engaging in discussions with IPFT and Tipra Matha. He highlighted the success of the alliance in the Lok Sabha elections, asserting that the coalition government in Tripura has been effectively working towards the welfare of the people. This past success serves as a foundation for the BJP’s belief that a united front will yield positive results in the upcoming elections.

 

The party leader expressed that the BJP intends to continue its collaborative approach in all future elections, reinforcing the idea that unity among allied parties can enhance their chances of winning. Decisions regarding seat allocation will be determined through collective discussions, ensuring that all partners are aligned in their electoral strategy.

 

This alliance reflects the BJP’s commitment to addressing the concerns of local communities and consolidating support from various groups in Tripura.
