BJP MLA Injured in Car Accident: Chief Minister visits GB Hospital

Agartala: Mar 16: In a tragic incident, Pinaki Das Chowdhury, the President of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Khoai district and MLA of Kalyanpur, sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between two vehicles. Three others were also injured in the accident. The collision occurred in the Champak Nagar Ram Sadhu neighborhood, while they were traveling from Kalyanpur to Agartala.

Eyewitnesses reported that the impact was severe, causing the MLA’s car to overturn. Prompt rescue efforts led to their swift evacuation, and all injured individuals were rushed to GB Hospital for medical attention. Currently, they are receiving treatment and care at the hospital.

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha expressed concern and pray for his speedy recovery and the other injured parties through social media. As the community rallies around those affected, the focus remains on their well-being and recovery.
