Speaking at the meeting, MP and state BJP president Rajiv Bhattacharjee highlighted the importance of alliances, citing the examples of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi in leading the country under the NDA alliance. He noted that the BJP, IPFT, and Tipra Matha alliance government in Tripura aims to work collectively for the development of tribal communities.

Bhattacharjee also pointed to the progress made in tribal areas under the current government, mentioning initiatives such as the establishment of 18 Eklavya schools to enhance education quality and the rehabilitation of the Ryang community from Mizoram. He added that scholarships have been provided to support tribal students, and efforts are underway to promote financial self-reliance among the public.

The MP further highlighted the financial package announced by Prime Minister Modi for Dhalai district, designated as a backward district. The funds are being utilized for improvements in roads, drinking water, education, and healthcare, with the goal of fostering prosperity in the region.

The meeting, attended by Minister Bikas Debbarma, State BJP Joint Secretary Bhagwan Chandra Das, and other MDCs, aimed to outline plans for showcasing these development efforts to the public.
