Agartala, Dec 26: Tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh’s five and eight-year-old children Sahebzadara were martyred while protesting against conversion. State BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharjee said this while participating in the Martyr Vir Bal Day celebrations in front of Chanmari School today.
Noted that after the death of Guru Teg Bahadur, he was replaced by Guru Gobind Singh who was only 9 years old. On the one hand, Guru Gobind Singh was a leader, warrior, poet and philosopher. The story of the immense bravery and valor of Guru Gobind Singh’s four sons who were killed by the Mughals. His four sons were Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh. To pay tribute to them, the central government has decided to observe 26th December as ‘Veer Bal Day’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced this on January 9.
Vir Bal Diwas is being celebrated in the state as well as across the country. A rally has been organized as part of Shaheed Vir Bal Divas celebrations in front of Chanmari School on the initiative of BJP today. State BJP President Rajeev Bhattacharya, Agartala Purnigam Mayor Deepak Majumder, former MLA Dilip Das, former MLA Mimi Majumder and others participated in the rally. On this day, the rally ended at Army Gurudwara in Chanmari.
On this day, Rajeev Bhattacharjee said, Sahebzadara, the five and eight-year-old children of the tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh, were martyred while protesting against conversion. To pay tribute to them, the central government has decided to observe 26th December as Bir Bal Day.
