Agartala: Mar 27: In a significant development, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominee Biplab Kumar Dev officially entered the electoral race by filing his nomination papers for the West Tripura Lok Sabha seat. Amidst fervent enthusiasm, Dev led a massive rally through the city streets, culminating in the submission of his papers to the District Magistrate of West Tripura.
Prominent political figures graced the occasion, including Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy, Minister Shuklacharan Nowatia, State BJP Rajib Bhattacharjee, and former Tipra Matha supremo Pradyot Kishore Devabarman. The presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayak Singh Saini and former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal added further weight to the event.
