Dev criticized Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 25-year rule. Despite Odisha’s abundant resources, including mines and minerals, the state’s development has faltered under Patnaik’s leadership. Many Odisha residents still seek employment opportunities in other states, such as Gujarat. Dev observed that despite the resentment due to inadequate development, there is also increasing support for Prime Minister Modi across tribal, non-tribal, coastal, and hilly communities. He expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will secure a majority, winning 17 seats in Odisha.

Dev visited Padma Shri Chitta Maharaj, currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital, and received positive updates on his physical condition. He also offered prayers for Mata Tripura Sundari’s blessings.

As political dynamics evolve, Dev’s endorsement of Modi’s leadership resonates with supporters and critics alike.
