Agartala March 24: The police became active when the criminals involved in the drug trade were walking around with firearms. After interrogating 4 arrested people involved in drug dealing, the police nabbed another drug dealer on Thursday night. After interrogating him, the police recovered objectionable items including 15,00 Yaba tablets, 8 cartons of heroin, a 9 MM pistol and 2 rounds of fresh cartridges and searched the main culprit’s house with car was detained.

Sadar Divisional Police Officer Ajay Kumar Das said on Friday that four drug dealers were arrested on Thursday. After interrogating them, another drug dealer was arrested from Ramthakur Sangha area. His name is Sunny Saha. During interrogation, he gave the name of another person to the police. According to the information given by him, the police raided the house on Thursday night and confiscated 1500 yaba tablets, heroin, a pistol, two rounds of fresh cartridges, and a car. However, the police could not arrest the owner of the house. Police operations are continuing to arrest him. However, the police did not release the name of the owner of the house for the sake of investigation. Police operations are continuing to arrest him. Sadar Commissioner of Police Ajay Das also said that the police will take strict measures to arrest those involved in the drug trade in Agartala city and suburbs.
