Agartala: Dec 20: The AR (Airport Railway) police station has uncovered a major bank account hacking and fraud scheme operating under the guise of a call center. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid and arrested three young men involved in the scam.
According to the details of the incident, a tip-off was received that a call center was operating in a hotel in Udaipur Matabari, where crores of rupees were being defrauded through bank account hacking. Based on this information, the police conducted a raid on the hotel and arrested three accused youths. The accused have been making lakhs of rupees by calling on three unknown numbers. A police officer said that the police will seek remand for the accused.
