Jayant Bhattacharya, President of Agartala Press Club, said that due to tobacco, people are likely to develop various complex diseases including cancer and TB. That is why the World Health Organization raised the slogan this year We do not want tobacco, we want food. The main reason behind this slogan is that if food is grown in the area where tobacco is grown, it will benefit the people of the world. Because there is a shortage of food in the world. Therefore, WWHO urged to stop the food shortage by stopping tobacco cultivation and cultivating food crops.
